Photographing the sun is a very difficult process because the sun emits such a bright light that causes lens flares on your camera's sensor. Most of the time taking photographs directly into the sun requires the use of very dark filters to reduce the brightness of the light.

Each photograph of the sun on my website is as I shot it on my camera, and then I very minimally edit the photo to adjust for the tonal range, colour, and clarity.
