Spotted Sandpiper in flight
Spotted Sandpiper, a small wading bird that nests near fresh water. These birds fly very low, and very fast flight with ‘stiff’ wingbeats. If you see one perched on the shoreline you’ll probably notice it bob its rear end up and down.
